Hi, I’m Daniel VanWormer — a freelance web designer and developer who believes great websites are built at the intersection of creativity and usability. I founded DV Web Development to help businesses, entrepreneurs, and creators turn their ideas into websites that not only look great but also perform beautifully.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Miami University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. My studies in design, web architecture, and backend development paved the way for my professional career as a Software Engineer building production ready systems which helped me develop skills I now apply to every client project.
My approach is simple: combine solid engineering principles with thoughtful, human-centered design. Whether it’s a personal portfolio, small business website, or growing brand, I focus on creating responsive, SEO-optimized websites that are easy to use, visually appealing, and built to perform on any device.
When I’m not designing, I’m exploring new ways technology can make life simpler — from emerging AI tools to interactive web experiences. My goal is to help clients elevate their online presence with websites that reflect who they are and what they value.

I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration at Ohio University, majoring in Finance, Accounting, and Data Analytics. This background gives me a deep understanding of how digital solutions can improve performance, efficiency, and customer engagement — insights I bring to every client conversation.
Before joining DV Web Development, I developed my leadership and communication skills through hands-on roles in sales and management. As a Crew Chief at College Works Painting, I led teams, managed project logistics, and personally generated over $50,000 in new business through direct outreach. Those experiences taught me how to listen, problem-solve, and deliver real value to every client.
